Introducing Pretty Green Brain

I created The Nature of Beauty because I believe the chemical industry is the single largest threat to our health and that of our planet (well, I guess you could easily argue those are one and the same). Whether it's the pollution in the air we breath, the pharmaceuticals in the water we drink, or the preservatives we slather on our faces, it's all thanks to the chemical industry. While we may not have the power as individuals to make any industry do anything differently, we have a ton of power as consumers. And if you're a woman, that goes double. Companies CARE what women want to buy, and policies will follow consumer demand. The Nature of Beauty is one place you can go to buy products that are truly organic and/or natural, with all of the ingredients proudly displayed, and as much information included as I have the wherewithall to provide.

But my site does not encompass the entire product universe, so how can you make purchasing decisions in every area of your life that represent the message you want to send?

Answer: You head on over to Pretty Green Brain.

Ok, so in the interest of complete transparency, I created Pretty Green Brain. I did it so that there would be a place you could go in order to learn more about the stuff beneath the fluff. Answers to questions like why we should care about chemicals, which companies are making products that are truly green and which are not - and how to tell the difference. I plan to pull in links and articles from other websites, and also to have semi-regular guest writers.

So head on over. I'd love to get your feedback! Send an email to info@natureofbeauty.com with any questions you'd like answered, topics you'd like covered, products you have questions about. I and my little team of investigative bloggers will find the answers!
