Eco-Friendly Accessories for Junior

To veer for a moment from all things beauty-related, I wanted to talk about the fabulous lunch kits I purchased for my little cherubs a couple of weeks ago. I found out about them on ecofabulous.com, and immediately zoomed over to the KidsKonserve website to see for myself what these unique kits were all about.

While the pictures look cute and all, the reality is that in person they look a billion times better. The bags are the perfect size to hold all lunchtime basics, and include a stainless steel water bottle, and two stainless steel containers for their apple slices, yogurt, or pretzels. I brought the bags to my daughter's environmental magnet school and the principal was so excited about them she was fairly certain all the teachers would want to purchase them as well.

The sack is made out of recycled cotton, they come with cotton napkins, as well as one of those great reusable sandwich wraps, making the need for plastic sandwich baggies obsolete. My five-year-old took a look at them and immediately staked her claim on the butterfly version and was pleased as punch at how pretty and "good for the earf" it is.

For more information as to how you can own one of these kits - either for yourself or that special little cold lunch eater in your life - check out their website. Be sure to look at their party paks made from 100% post-consumer recycled yogurt containers!
